Job title: Manager, Market Research
Job description:
Responsible for leading business-to-business and industrial
market research projects in support of strategy consultants.
Duties include developing and proposing research methodologies
including both qualitative and quantitative. Responsible
for all aspects of quantitative projects including questionnaire
design, programming, data tabbing, analytics, analysis and
reporting. Also, conduct qualitative interviews with executive
decision-makers. Also, the person in this position will
be responsible for ensuring our firm is using the most current
and effective research methodologies for the application.
Job requirements:
Must have experience designing surveys, managing field projects,
managing data, tabbing, performing analytics, preparing
charts and graphs. Must be comfortable conducting executive
level interviews. Flexibility and ability to quickly develop
proficiency in new systems. Should be proficient with SPSS
or equivalent, tabbing software, and online survey programming.
Additional comments:
Informal but demanding work environment. Should be comfortable
dealing with b2b/industrial clients, respondents and issues.
Able to wear many hats and juggle multiple duties including
less glamorous tasks such as secondary research, list building,
coding, etc.
